HP's C7974A is a Linear Tape-Open 4(LTO-4) format tape cartridge. It has a tape length of 820m which enables a native data storage capacity of 800GB that can be expanded up to 1600GB when compressed. It has an archival life of atleast 30 years .The Hp C7974Atape cartridge has a recording density of 343kbits/inch.
